IELTS course (คอร์สเรียน IELTS, which is the term in Thai) is an English language exam that is given by the students who are willing to pursue higher education in foreign countries where English is the main language. The exam speaks about the ability of the individual to speak and understand the English language well. The countries that accept IELTS scores are the USA, London, UK, Australia, NewZealand, Canada, etc.

IELTS exam pattern:

The exam paper is categorized into 4 sections namely reading, writing, listening and speaking. The total time is 2hrs 45mins. Speaking test consists of 3 tasks, the reading test consists of 40 questions and the listening test consists of 4 tasks. Each section has questions of different types and each question carries 1 mark and there’s no negative marking.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The applicant must be 16 years old.
  • A valid passport is a must.
  • Candidate can take this test only if he or she is willing to study in countries that accept IELTS scores like the USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada.

Preparation for IELTS Exam:

The ideal score for IELTS is above 7. To get good scholarships and fees reimbursement in universities, the candidate must score above 7. To get a score of 7, well-planned preparation is necessary. One can undergo the IELTS course of coaching which will be of duration of about 2 months.
